Competitive Global Production
Fokker Elmo (Langfang) Electrical Systems Co. Ltd
In 1997, Fokker Elmo reinforced its competitive position
with the establishment of a Joint Venture in the People's
Republic of China for a low cost production facility;
Langfang Fokker. Since January 2005 they became
a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise of Fokker Elmo in
The Netherlands. Since January 2006 the new factory
is up and running.
Fokker Elmo Langfang is a low cost manufacturing centre for the
production of aircraft and engine wire harnesses. The production
processes as used by Fokker Elmo Langfang, are the same procedures as
implemented at our facilities in the Netherlands. They are AS9100 approved.
Since the start-up of the Fokker Elmo Langfang, they have succesfully
contributed to several major programs as the Rolls-Royce Trent 500
engine program and the A340 program to mention a few. Only recently
they have succesfully started working on a range of workpackages for the Boeing
Company.
